Elevate your Performance: Book Launch

Blog > Book, Media, News & Education

Five years ago I bought a 3 books in the Elevate series. They have become a go-to resource that are now dog eared, tabbed and highlighted throughout.

Today, I am excited to be a co-author of “Elevate your performance”. This book is part of the Elevate book series that is filled with information, tips, tools, life changing stories and advise from several full time coaches and practitioners. The book is a great resource for anyone who is open and receptive to learning, healing and evolving their mind, body and soul.

Thank you to everyone who came today and to everyone that has messaged and called with such very kind words.

Massive thank you to Sue Hale for organising everything, Garry Haskell for your muscles, to Rita Psaila Nichols for taking all the orders, to Cang for taking photos and to Dr Michelle Reiss and Emma McBride for speaking and sharing your amazing words.

During the event I had a moment that reminded me to embrass my uniqueness.

While signing books at the book launch, at one point I looked at the date and realised at some point I had started writing it backwards. I had no idea how many times I’d done it before I realised it. The old me would have been embarrassed, ashamed and even frustrated. But instead, I cracked up laughing, embraced my gift and shared it with those around me.

Embrace your uniqueness. Embrace your imperfect self, but most importantly, embrace your gifts, especially the gifts that have pushed you out of your comfort zone to get you through life.

It was undiagnosed dyslexia in school that lead to a life of struggles with comprehending and articulating written English.

But, at the age of 55, a beautiful client explained how they help kids today by explaining they have a gift not a disadvantage. That day I discovered I to have a gift. My gift was my dyslexia because unknowingly I developed many ways to still get by and embrace life without even being aware of it.

Dyslexia caused me to use the wrong date sometimes.
